About
I am Tijs de Tombe. With an academic background in Economic and Consumer Psychology (Leiden University, cum laude) I chose the public sector on purpose. My parents work in healthcare and education, and that has shaped the choice. I combine behavioural insight with a sharp, data-driven view of organisations.
I have worked independently since 2022, on assignments as a data analyst and business analyst in emergency care, general practice and home care, among others.
What drives me is helping the public sector move forward by bridging data, IT and everyday care practice.
Approach
Technical experts and care professionals often do not speak the same language. One side thinks in systems, protocols and efficiency. The other puts the human scale and unique patient situations first.
My strength is understanding both. I get to the needs on the work floor and translate them into technical solutions that help both worlds work together.
I take complex questions back to the essence, until it is clear what is needed and why.
I then turn that core into practical management information, so organisations can make considered choices. The quality of care always comes first.

Every assignment starts with understanding the real question. The difference between the visible problem and the dynamics underneath decides whether a solution is a quick fix or a lasting improvement.

By asking until we reach the core, I surface the actual need. That way the right solution can be built with focus.
I bring structure to processes, such as requirements and system design. Organisations regain grip and transparency.
Alongside analytical work I design and host websites and working app demos, so entrepreneurs and professional networks can present an idea or presence clearly online.
Web development
As an independent entrepreneur, having your own website is a sound investment. Clients look you up online before they get in touch, and with the Dutch DBA legislation in mind, a professional presence contributes to the picture that you operate as a genuine business.
I am happy to help. Because I am a freelancer myself, I know what running a small business involves and I think along with you. I build with AI support, so a professional website does not have to become a large project.
Because I do the work myself, costs stay clear. Hosting, domain, technical updates and small text changes are included in the monthly fee. If you also need something else for your business, such as a professional email address or business cards, I am happy to help with that too.
